Note: Registration/login for the conference is different than your society login, if you are a member of one of the societies. You will need to create a separate registration and login for the conference (different than your society registration).
The societies represented at the annual Evolution conference are not-for-profit organizations.
Funds from registration for the different meeting styles will be used to cover the virtual and in-person conference costs respectively, to cover the costs of staff for the organization and support of both conference styles, and to provide funds to increase accessibility for students and attendees from low GDP countries.

* Rates refer to your status at the time you register. If you have recently graduated but not yet become a post doc, you can register as a student. If your post doc has ended but you have not started as a faculty, you can register as a postdoc.
** A guest is a person accompanying a standard (i.e. non-guest) registrant. The guest can attend the 'social' functions only (i.e. opening reception, coffee breaks, evening poster sessions). Anyone wanting to attend talks, symposia, workshops and/or other academic events must independently register as a regular attendee. Guests receive a discount on Super social tickets (see below).

Virtual registrants get:

- Access to 2 days of live talks during the virtual meeting.
- The opportunity to present a live virtual talk during the virtual meeting.
- Networking and special events specific to the virtual meeting.
- Access to livestreamed plenaries, virtual talks, and any pre-recorded in-person talks participants choose to submit (in-person concurrent sessions and symposia will not be recorded), indefinitely via the Evolution YouTube Channel, all with optional captioning, that includes:
- all talks and symposia from the virtual meeting (unless speakers chose not to be recorded)
- all recorded plenaries from the in-person meeting (unless speakers chose not to be recorded)
- all in-person talks for which presenters opt to contribute a pre-recorded version
All of the above PLUS:
- Attendance at the in-person meeting*.
- The option to present a talk and/or poster at the in-person meeting.
- Networking and special events and workshops at the in-person meeting (some require pre-registration and have additional fees).
- Option to submit a pre-recorded version of your talk for virtual participants to view, post conference (participants need to record and submit their own recordings)

Talk and poster submission is available to paid registrants only via links that show up after registration, in your registration profile. More information about submissions can be found here.
Cancellation policy
- Near-Full Refunds (registration rate minus a $10 processing fee) are available if requested prior to May 20, 2025.
- Partial Refunds (registration rate minus a $50 cancellation fee) are available if requested prior to June 20, 2025.
- No refunds are given after conference start.
