COVID-19 policies and information
The American Society of Naturalists, the Society for the Study of Evolution, and the Society of Systematic Biologists are dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of all attendees of our joint annual meeting. Our 2025 meeting is currently planned in two parts, with a 2-day virtual conference on May 29-30, followed about a month later by the standard 5 day in-person conference (June 20-24) in Athens, GA, USA.
Vaccination. All attendees of the in-person 3rd Joint Congress on Evolutionary Biology are expected to be vaccinated and up to date on their COVID-19 vaccines.
Masks and other mitigation measures. We encourage, but do not require, you to take steps to protect others and yourself: wear a mask, bring some rapid tests, avoid the conference if you have reason to think you might have covid, etc. Knowingly exposing others at a conference to a potentially deadly disease (Covid-19 or other) is a violation of the code of conduct. Historically our community has been considerate and we hope this continues.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at [email protected].
