University Dorms (Cleveland State University) - Room block now closed

You must be 18+ to stay in the dorms.

Single bed in private room in a shared suite: $82 USD/night ($410 total including tax for 5 night room; $492 total including tax for 6 night room)
Includes linens, pillows and towels.
Each room comes with a private bathroom.
Suite size is variable - 2-4 bedrooms per suite (so you would be sharing common space with 1-3 people).
Check in date: on or after 19-Jun-2025 (6 night rooms); or on or after 20-Jun-2025 (5 night rooms)
Check out date: on or before 25-Jun-2025
Refunds for late-canceled dorms are unavailable after April 20 unless we can get someone else to take your room.

Note: Dormitory spaces are charged for 5 or 6 nights total (depending on which rooms are available/that you sign up for when you pay). You can arrive after the 19th or 20th, or leave before the 25th, but you will be charged the full 5 or 6 nights even if you stay less.

Transportation to Convention Center from dorms:
No shuttles are planned, but buses to the convention center from the dorms operate regularly through the Regional Transit Authority (RTA). Plan your route here: https://www.riderta.com/
ADA Accessible transport from dorms:

Most RTA buses will be set up for ADA accessibility, however - to be safe (in case of malfunctioning equipment), direct Paratransit options through RTA are available. You will, however, need an ADA pass/ID.

Because one of the stated requirements for an RTA Paratransit pass is that people need to come into the RTA office 2 days in advance and this is not generally a possibility for visitors attending a conference, here are the following modified steps to take before you arrive:

- Fax a letter including any approval ID from your locality (about ADA needs) to 1-216-350-5284 (yes – they know faxes are outdated)
- Include an explanation in the faxed document that you are attending a conference and need a visitor ADA pass/number. Include the following info:
- Dates of travel/conference/cover needed
- Local ID of ADA accessibility documentation
- A sentence requesting a visitors pass number
- Your contact details (name, email, phone number, fax number (If you have one)
- Once you receive a visitors pass ID number, you will be able to directly book Paratransit through the RTA system as needed during the conference. You can pre-book paratransit transport directly. See https://www.riderta.com/search?text=paratransit for details.
