Local attractions
Montréal is a vibrant city that has a lot going on in the summer - music, festivals, parks, river walks, art, history, fabulous food and outdoor spaces! Hop over to the historical district - Old-Montréal - by foot for some narrow cobblestone streets, historical buildings and shopping or nightlife; down to the waterfront/Old Port for a view of the city by ferris wheel (La Grande Roue) or to do some zip-lining; or hop on the bus (or hike up the stairs from near downtown) to Mount Royal for a different view of the city, hiking trails, and bird-watching. With so much to do in a compact space for a city of this size, there are lots of options!
