REGISTER
Registration is now closed. Links to live streams and recordings will be posted on the Schedule page as they become available.
Eligibility for Active Participation
Active participation in events (that is, anything involving communication with other participants, panelists and speakers) is limited to registered members of SSE, ASN, or SSB who have agreed to abide by our updated Code of Conduct as part of registration. All events are free.
Participation and Event Capacities
Due to logistical concerns, some events have a limited number of “seats”, so make sure to take a look at the Schedule for participant caps. Many events will be available as non-interactive livestreams in addition to being recorded for future viewing, neither of which will require pre-registration or society membership to access.
Participants who join via computer audio/video are asked to display their names during each event, noting that some may be uncomfortable doing so. Having names displayed will aid in the reporting of any incidents that occur, but it is important to note that a displayed name may be false and names cannot be verified during an event.
If an event does not show up in the registration form, it may have reached capacity. Please email Kati Moore at communications@evolutionsociety.org if you would like to request to be added to a waiting list.
If you would like to cancel or modify your registration, please contact Kati Moore at communications@evolutionsociety.org.

Accessibility Tools
The planners of ECR^2 will be working to address accessibility needs to the greatest extent possible. The registration form includes a space for you to tell us exactly what accommodations you need to participate fully in our activities. Additionally, feel free to reach out to the society contacts to discuss accessibility concerns.
Event Moderators
To enforce the Code of Conduct and to diffuse any potentially harmful situations, such as ZoomBombing, we will have trained volunteer Moderators sitting in on each event with more than five participants. There is an option to volunteer for this role during registration, and training will take place the week of July 13th.
Moderators will have status as an official host on the meeting platform, granting them the ability to control participant access, audio and video. Moderators will be trained to recognize and appropriately respond to inappropriate behavior; this will include a brief training on the technical tools for operating the meeting platform. Moderators may take whatever immediate action(s) they deem appropriate to address inappropriate behavior during an event. Actions include (but are not limited to) muting audio or video of any participants, removing a participant from the current online event, and reporting violations of the Code of Conduct to the Safety Officer. Moderators must identify themselves to participants by using “Moderator” either in place of or along with their given name on the platform; moderators may choose to display only “Moderator” if concerned about potential retaliation.
