The Evolution Conference – or informally to many, the 'Evolution meeting' – is the joint annual conference of the Society for the Study of Evolution, the Society of Systematic Biologists, and the American Society of Naturalists.
The conference is the premier opportunity for the presentation and discussion of scientific research in all areas of evolutionary biology. It features numerous contributed talks (14 min. 'regular' and 5 min. 'lightning'), multiple society-selected symposia with invited speakers on specific themes, several poster sessions, and keynote addresses including from the Presidents of each society and one or more public outreach seminars. There are also various workshops each year and academic publishers and scientific suppliers contribute through their exhibits and sponsorship.
This website is the single-stop location for all information on past, present, and future Evolution conferences. Information about meeting organization can be found here.

Evol2018 – We're meeting jointly with ESEB in Montpellier, France (Aug. 18-22). The meeting will follow the format of traditional ESEB meetings.
Evol2019 – We're going to Providence, RI. Convention center right downtown in a very nice city!
Evol2020 – We'll be meeting in Cleveland, OH (June 19-23). Site visit revealed a vibrant and beautiful downtown, terrific convention center, and we're trying to arrange the Super Social at the Rock & Roll HOF!
Historical records – We're looking to develop a record of past Evolution meetings, including the location, societies involved, and a copy of the program. Check out our Previous Meetings page and let us know if you have a correct or addition.
