The Evolution Conference – or informally to many, the 'Evolution meeting' – is the joint annual academic conference of the Society for the Study of Evolution, the Society of Systematic Biologists, and the American Society of Naturalists.
The conference is the premier opportunity for the presentation and discussion of scientific research in all areas of evolutionary biology. It features numerous regular contributed talks, shorter 'lightning' talks, multiple symposia with invited speakers on society-chosen themes, several poster sessions, and keynote addresses including from the Presidents of all three societies and usually one or more public outreach seminars. There are often several workshops each year. Academic publishers and scientific suppliers also contribute through their exhibits and sponsorship.
This website is the single-stop location for all information on past, present, and future Evolution conferences. Information about meeting organization can be found here.
